Our english class recently veiwed a movie called The Kid staring Bruce Willis as Russell Duritz and Spencer Breslin as Rusty Duritz.
The characters in the movie are.
Russel: at the start Russel is a mean selfish image consultant who has no dog or wife.
Rusty: is cute adorable funny and is not afraid on anything except bullies.
Amy- is nice caring and funny in the movie she ends up marrying russel.
Janet: is sarcastist, happy , funny and works as russels assistent
News Reporter: is chirpy, happy and positive.
The movie is about Russel who is mean and then his 8yr old self comes back into the future and teachs him a lesson. In the end of the movie he ends up marrying Amy one of his work colleagues.
My overall opion is that it is a good family movie I would recomend it for every age I would give it a 7/10.
I chose to watch Napoleon Dynamite because I was bored and I wanted to watch something that was funny.
It was about this really big nerd Napoleon Dynamite that other nerds try to avoid and he is out to prove that he has nothing to prove. On his way he makes a few friends that stick by him.
The all movie was the best and everything in it was the best. There were no bad bits in Napoleon Dynamite it was the absolute best.
Overall I love this movie I’am giving it a 10/10 and would recomend it to people over 12.
I chose to watch Jeepers Creepers because I had seen the second one and that was ok.
It was about a creature(scarecrow monster thingy) that slept for 23years and wakes up for 23days and feeds on people. When a brother and a sister see him putting bodies down a tube he starts hunting them.
I thought the best bit was when the brother falls down the tube and sees all these dead bodies on the walls and celling It was my favourite bit because it was really funny bacause it looked really fake. There werent any really bad bits.
I would recomend this film for people from the age of 10+. My overall opinion was that it was really funny (it is meant to be a horror) I would give it a 5/10.
I chose to watch Celebrity Survivor because I have watched it before. Celebrity Survivor is a take of Survivor instead of unfamous people. In this show there are two different kind of challenges one is reward where you have to compete in different challenges most of the rewards are food, utensils and other useful stuff to help them survive, the other challenge is the amunity challenge where they again have to do challenges to win amunity which means they dont have to vote someone out of their group but the team that lose has to vote someone of. The two team names are Moso and Kakula, Moso at first was made of 5girls and 1guy and Kakula was made up of 5boys and 1girl but then halfway through they had a mix up of the two groups so now Moso are mad up of 2girls(both have been voted of) and 3guys and Kakula are made up of 3girls and 2guys. Kakula have only been to tribal counsil(were they go if they lost the amunity challenge) once were Moso have been alot of times. The host of Celebrity Survivor is Dicko former judge of Australian Idol. The celebrities of Celebrity Survivor Amber Petty,David Oldfield, Elton Flatley, Fiona Horne, Gabrielle Richens,Guy Leech, Imogen Bailey, Justin Melvey, Kym Johnson, Nicolle Dickson, Wayne Gardner and then was Ben who was won in one of the reward challenges by the Kakula tribe but was voted of. This show is okay I would recomend it for teenagers and adults I give it a 5/10.
I chose to watch Save The Last Dance. I chose to watch it because I had seen it before and I enjoyed. It was about a girl who’s a great ballerina but then her mums dies and she has to live with her dad. She starts at a new school and things start changing there. The best bit was at the end when she goes to try out for the top ballea school and she falls over then her boyfriend comes in and he helps her overcomes her fear and gets in, it was my favourite bit because it was very moving and emotional. There weren’t any bits in the whole movie thatI didn’t like it. Overall I thought it was a good movie a bit sad in some bits out of 10 I give it a 8 Iwould recomend it for everybody over the age of 12.
I choose to watch Pirates of the Caribbean2 because I liked the first one and the trailer for the film looked good. It was about how 12 years ago that Jack Sparrow(Johny Deep) had struck a deal with Davy Johns that if he made him captain of the Black Pearl then after those 12years Davy Johns came to collect Jack Sparrow(JD). My favourite part was when Will Turner (Orlando Bloome) was on this island looking for Jack and his following this string and then he turns around and there is this blue guy that captures him and then he gets put in a bone cage and escapes. There wasnt any bits in the movie that i didnt like but the end was confusing. This was a great movie I give it a 5/5 I would recomend it for 13 and over.
The first thing I noticed about the add was the picture of the icecreams. It would appeal to any age and both genders it would also appeal to people who love food and especily icecream. The purpose of the add is to promote and get people to buy magnum icecream. It shows the product glowing and the peoples faces show consent. This add worked on me because I enjoy icecream alot

Podkids our a gorup of year 4 and 5 stundents that have set up a radio station online. Podkids talk about a lot of things like spport animals the world and you get to hear some of there play`s which are really interesting. They seem organised because they don`t mess up their lines and they know when to put the music on and when to cut the music. At times the speak to loudly and sometimes not loud enough. Overall I think that it is done well and it is a great idea becuase it gives the kids a chance to say what they want.
I Choose to watch The New Guy.I choose to watch it because my friend recomended it to me. It was about a guy called Dizzy Harris who is a complete dag and everyone picks on him then he gets determined to get expelled so he can start again at a new school. The best was when he`s old friends help him out bymaking the motorbike that he had broken so the Gil (Dizzy) can look cool and so they tow him by car and then they break fastly and he flips over and lands on the boot and him and his two friends start dancing. There weren`t any bad bits in the hole movie. My overall opionon is that it is so funny I give it 5/5 I would recomend it for 12 and over.
